IT’S BEEN A WHILE, BEST OF THE VALLEY & FAREWELL YELLOW BRICK ROAD..
What a busy summer it has been…..
It seems as long as we waited for the warm weather, it came and left. Football is in the air and the blue/gray October skies are on the horizon.
At the shop Summer was filled with beautiful weddings, fun projects and much needed summer vacations. I know personally I was in no hurry to return from Disney and neither was my daughter!
Rich Mar Florist was so happy to be a part of so many beautiful weddings like Shoshanna’s in the photo below. Our wedding design team truly enjoys working with all of our brides and making their day and photos thereafter so memorable.
One of those crazy summer projects…
Every once a while something interesting comes along that we just can’t pass up. Being a huge racing and Phantoms fan this opportunity was wayyyy to good to pass up. Joining forces with our friends at the Lehigh Valley Phantoms we sponsored Timmy Hill’s #66 Monster Energy Cup Car and Josh’ Reaume’s #33 Truck Series Truck. What an amazing experience and what great feedback we received on and off the track.
Best of the Valley!!
Rich Mar Florist was voted best of the Valley this year by all of our loyal fans and voters. This has been a long time coming for us. Some of our staff was able to enjoy the evening with all of the other winners and the MC of the night and long time customer Bobby Gunther Walsh. The event took place at Bear Creek, a venue we know all to well from all the weddings and events that we service there. It was nice to be able to sit back and relax for a change.
Last but not least…Sir Elton
Our summer ended with some celebrity excitement! Looking back on all the celebrities we have provided service for over years, no one tops Sir Elton. One of the greatest Musicians of his time and we at Rich Mar have been so fortunate to serve him multiple times. His appreciation for the art of flowers is only matched by his outlandish outfits!
I had the pleasure of setting the floral decor in his dressing room here in Allentown at the PPL Center! And if that was not enough, my father was fortunate enough to set up his flowers at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. What an honor to help kick off his final tour! And if you are curious, Sir Elton loves a Pave’ style of simple solid colored roses in clear class cubes up to the most stylish arrangement anyone could design. The arrangement below was for his dressing room in Philadelphia.
